2018
Tall vs Short
A controversial team selection policy this year - Davids versus Goliaths, teams picked exclusively on height.
This year the controversial “Cup of Shame” rule came in - any batsman wishing to use the “can’t go out for zero” rule had to drink a full cup of beer / wine before being allowed to do so.
A magnificent day with a nail-biting finish - Spencer B hitting two boundaries in the final over to seal an unlikely come-from-behind victory.

Match report (extract)
In 2018, with “Team Tall” playing “Team Short”, Nelson was angling for a threepeat, but it was not to be, thanks to Spencer Bailey and his Volvo XC90-sized testicles. Striding in with 5 balls to face and two boundaries needed to win off a fired-up Harry who was intent on cleaning up the tail, Spencer was unperturbed. (Eagle-eyed spectators would have spotted Nelson practising his victory speech at point, and quietly mouthing the word “three-peat” to himself as he gently stroked his right nipple.)
Spencer - and his enormous balls - deftly carved a ball down to the fine leg boundary (totally on purpose), putting team ROTW in a minor panic. The fielders was pulled in to stop any singles, and Spencer responded with a magnificent on drive to hand Team Short the unlikeliest of victories.
